Starting October 20
two services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
at 900 W. Memorial Dr.

Evangel will be moving to the former Shopko building on the intersection of Memorial Dr. and Sharon Ave., next to Culver’s and Econofoods.

Shuttle service will continue to pick up students from Wadsworth Hall. Nursery care will be available for newborns to toddlers during both worship services. Children’s programming and Sunday school classes will continue. And we’ll still have Mandarin Chinese & Korean live translation during second service.

What to Expect

During our Sunday morning worship services, we’ll sing a couple songs, have announcements and prayer, sing a couple more songs, and then the pastor will give a message from the Bible. The music is a mixture of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns, accompanied by piano and often other instruments.

Come as you are! Some people dress in jeans and T-shirts and others dress in suits. Come in whatever is most comfortable to you. Grab a free cup of tea or premium, micro roast coffee and sit in any open seat in our temporary sanctuary.

It’ll feel a bit like camping for a while as we renovate the other half of the building. We plan to have renovations complete by Easter services next spring.

Finally, parking won’t be an issue!

How You Can Help

1. Spread the word. We’ll finally have enough room for those who’ve wanted to attend but felt a bit cramped in our current sanctuary.

2. Help on Evangel Work Day, 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, at 900 W. Memorial Dr. The building is full of retail shelving that will need to be moved to create space for a temporary sanctuary.
